One of my oldest stills.

A lovely tonal range but there is a unsatisfying separation of the two main elements, that to my eye makes the whole composition disjointed. I would love to have seen them linked or overlapped in some way to provide an organic coupling.

Rina, I cannot believe that the Peanut village idiot gave you a 3/3 for this exquisite work of art. To have done so is simple vandalism and spite.

 

Until now I was totally unaware of your classic and beautifully restrained still life work. I am very impressed.

 

To me, this is very, very nicely composed and shot. Perhaps the black border could wrap around the top as well, or the bottom dark base could be rendered as slightly lighter. But that would just be my personal preference.

 

I am especially impressed with the restraint you show in your classical and elegant compositions.
