The guardians - paris

This is a great photo but I think contrast is a bit too high (see the burned area - too white) and the too dak area. ;-)

I have tried dozens times to get good shots of gargoyles and have always thought taht shooting from the street up leaves something to be desired in the photo. They are such an interesting subject I have not been able to get any good photos. What do you think?

 

I used to have a F4s, was robbed, I miss it but my wife is almost happy to see it gone, she hated when I made her carry it :)

 

When I am able to, I'll try again but my next plan is to look for a building I can shoot from to get a more level view. Apart from the above comment, I would add a closer crop may be better.
