o.k, i never think that the subject can be not original, i think way to show the subject can be, as in this case. dont like the obviuos political story beyond this flag, and i dont like flags at all !! that is why i voted very low

There was no political intent in this photograph. That does seem to be the message that it sent to you. When I see a photograph that contains subject matter that I do not like I disqualify myself from rating it. In this case it would not have made any difference (to me) what country was represented by the flag, it was only the poor condition of the flag that I found disturbing.

It's a flag, a bit of cloth, in this case a little tatty. What else is there to say?

james, you can not take photo of the most popular simbol without taking into acount that its not just a pice of cloth, otherwise take photo of a loundry

American flag as displayed at a US post office I saw this flag flying over a Post office and could not believe how tattered it was. I couldn't help but being a little bit angry that a government service would fly a flag in such condition.
