Last of its breed? Cowboy perhaps? I like the shallow d.o.f. and the expression.

 

On a separate note, I think that those guys out there with ropes, hauling in shopping carts at mass merchants, warehouse clubs, specialty retailers are the modern day cowboys. ^_^

Okay - one of my favorite of your portraits/candids. I really love this!! The shadow that his hat casts is just right ... not too dark on his face, but enough to block the obviously strong sun. Perfect. His expression and the wonderful hat make for a super image!!
