Love the color and the action. Rear Curtain sync. Darn it Wilson, now I got to get my books out and look that up. It sounds like fun! Wonderful DOF on this one too!

I can hear her/his wings from here and still you have the rest in such sharp focus. I would have got a very sharp photo also,........... of the stem!!, Oh and a very blured EMPTY space. Hoping to get more practice when our weather improves. I have no choice but to give you a very poor rating of.............7/..............7.

I like the rear sync effect, that also works well on moving cars at night. Never seen it used on a macro but it works.

I, too, am gonna have to get out my manual. Think I ran across "rear synch" somewhere in my reading about flash but don't remember much about it. Anyway, the result here is very cool.

In my opinion, it lacks of light on the insect, so that it seems that the main subject is the stem on the right, but I think this is not the case.

AMAR: Thanks. I was hoping to convey the motion.

FLEMMING: Thanks.

HOWARD: Thank you.

JAYME: It should be there in camera's flash mode selector.

SONDRA: Thanks for your comment.

KIM: Glad you like it.

STEVE: I enjoy your enthusiasm!

DENNIS: Thanks for checking it out.

PETER: Well, you'll have to try it then.

CHiPs: Glad you like it.

REINER: But eventually, you'll get it.

FRANCESCO: Thank you, sir.

KEN: With digital, it's easy to just go out and try it.

HENRI: Thanks for checking it out. Point well taken. Unfortunately, this butterfly is black so it sucks in all the light as oppose to the stem which reflects all the light.

The movement is caught so perfectly. I know about rear curtain sync and just wish my camera had that too (Nikon CP5700). I like expecially how the two blue spots are mirrored by the two red areas on the butterfly. It adds that other level of connection between the butterfly and its food.
