j_doyle 0 Posted April 9, 2005 Carlo, While this is a cute photo, I much prefer your photos of Rocco where we can see his wonderfully expressive face. There's something about Rocco's big personality that really shines when we see him head-on. In a front-view, we can see the obvious magical connection you have with Rocco that you're able to capture in his face and then translate into photos that makes the viewer vicariously feel that special connection you have with him. Regards...and "hi" to Rocco...I trust he's enjoying all the wonders of spring, J Link to comment
jmmcgrath 0 Posted April 9, 2005 I really like the deep of the color and the volume of the rococo?s hair!... could you explain me a little bit of what kind of manipulation did you used? Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted April 9, 2005 Hi J, thank you for your very nice comment! Hi Juan Manuel, thank tou for taking time to visit Rocco's photos. I made 3 copies of the same shot: sea, sand (duotones) and Rocco (tritone), then I've pasted one upon the other erasing the part I didn't want. Its the first time I do somehing like that, and the sense of volume surprised me too. I think it could have something to do with the trio/duo tone combination. But I'm not sure! Carlo Link to comment
