Comments appreciated on this one--it was hard to compose anything

without scaffolding getting into the photo. The whole Acropolis

seemed to be under renovation!

I think Robert you have done a very good job here to compose this one. Interesting perspective of shot.

Kind regards.

Peter, I was there this time last year and it was just the same! What with the scaffolding and tourist crowds it gets tricky. Nicely observed in this shot.

Peter, Zafar, and Colin, thanks for your nice comments. Scaffolding was up on just about everything on the Acropolis. The tourists actually weren't too bad--only several hundred milling around in the late afternoon. Several years ago I was in Athens in the summer; not much scaffolding at the Acropolis, but 1000's of hot, sweaty tourists jockeying for position. If you're not going there to lay on the beach, I'd highly recommend visiting Greece in March.

Great picture, I think the scaffolding has done you a favour in forcing you to look for a different angle rather than the stock shot of the Parthenon.
