I like it, but I think it would be better if the right side of her face (her left, our right) were not reversed. As the tones reverse into negative, it give her eye and evil look, as if it has no soul, or is burning, or something. Other than that, I think it's interesting. I like her pose, and her situation in the environment. I wonder if you planned on treating the original this way, or did you decide to alter it after the shoot?

Doug, this is from an old IR, scanned neg. Original darkroom prints are ! nice, but so far, have not had much success when scanning such thin film & exposures for digital conversion. But I enjoy seeing where a few p/s digital darkroom clicks can bring something full circle, and let an image have other lives. I miss day's in the darkroom, yet happy to learn this newfangled confuser stuff.

I miss them, too, but they were messy, you have to admit.

Michael, I really love this original version. It's got such a feeling of vulnerability. I'd pick it over the ps'd version any day.

I have to say my vote goes to the original, It has that infrared feel and lovely tone that anything more seems to spoil it. It seems to have very little grain too considering its kodak infrared.
