tim_ziegler 0 Posted April 6, 2005 Beautiful! The tungsten of the car lights sets the contrast between inside and out. Great urban portrait. Tim Link to comment
professorlove 0 Posted April 6, 2005 Le titre d鬩rant pour cette photo... hihi... Very cool picture! The wide angle here is very welcome. The green light... this old man... finaly this picture smells death is it his last travel, last destination... Link to comment
jeremy freeland 0 Posted April 6, 2005 I think this is the most "human" or sypathetic of your shots in this folder. Tokyo Girl would be next. Both of them very effectively evoke a sense of aloneness. Some of the compositions on the other shots are striking with the very strong diagonals pushing into the center of the frame, but I prefer this combination of people and machines/urban construction. I do like how you've put this particular image together. The strong perpective emphasizes that the train's not staying, the lighting adds to the sense of alienation, and the old man's expression and slumped posture speak of weariness. Thanks for posting. Best, Jeremy. Link to comment
