sondra kick 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Zion National Park in Utah was the setting for this photo. All comments welcome. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted April 2, 2005 I like the photo's anomalous sense of scale. Until I realized the vegetation was trees, I figured this was a very small stream with pebbles and some weird desert moss or something. Whoa! Desert moss???! No, that's not right. Look again. I was surprised by this as I have been several times to Zion. I enjoyed being surprised this way. It made me laugh at myself. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted April 2, 2005 This is the best of the three so far. I love the red rocks ... we certainly don't have THOSE out East, do we? And the stream/river (whichever?) is superb! Were you standing at some sort of Park Overlook ... or did you hike to this find? Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted April 3, 2005 Thanks for all your comments. I spotted this scene as we drove by it. Turned around and parked nearby. The photo was taken from the roadway. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted April 4, 2005 Beautiful colours and as mentioned above a teasing sense of scale. Link to comment
