I was on my way home from work one day, and noticed that the sky was

really spectacular. I rushed home, grabbed the camera, and hurried

to a likely spot to capture the moment. I caught the tail end of a

really great looking sky, I only wish I had been able to get there a

few minutes earlier as the sky was far more colourful then. Ratings

and comments would be helpful and appreciated.

Given that you could not have avoided the power poles, I would use them to perhaps frame the sun rather than composing with the first pole at the current spot. Nice colors. I felt the same way yesterday going home from work because the colors were beyond any sunset I've seen but realized that I was too late to drive home and back.

Actually, I could have avoided the power poles but instead decided to use them to create some for-ground interest. But yeah, framing them towards the sun would have been way better.
