Wayne, thanks for your comment. I also shot this the way you've suggested, but liked the centered version better.

Kevin and Simon, thanks for commenting.

Paul, thanks for stopping by. I like the inner black border (obviously), but a number of viewers have made comments similar to yours. At some point, I'll probably simplify my framing on the net. And by the way, you expect me to go to Greece without a camera?

This scene really draws me in. The narrow curving alley with the stripe in the center begs to be explored. I'm not sure the blue section of sky at the top is necessary. In some ways, it detracts a bit. If I scroll to eliminate that part, the alley seems more mysterious and hidden.

The blue and yellow doorways are fabulous! This is one of my favorites of your recent Greece uploads.

This is an fantastic image...I wish it was little sharper. The colors and composition are excellent.

Robert, I find I actually enjoy viewing this more in the thumbnail, or ideally hung on a wall and from a distance. It's not so much the location as the way it comes together as a whole, with its variety of geometric shapes, grades of tone and different intensities of hues that makes it work for me.

Paul, thanks for your comment. Didn't go to the islands this time, so no white houses.

Laurie, thanks for your comments: the colors drew me in, too.

Jay, you're right about sharpness. This was handheld at night, probably at about 1/2 sec. When I go to Europe I like to travel fairly light, so I go handheld. For shots like this one, I really wish I had a tripod . . . . but I was on my way to dinner with my wife and kids and shot a burst of three frames in hopes one would be fairly sharp: didn't quite get there.

Hanna, thanks for you comments. I wish it were sharper but I like the shapes and colors. Thanks for stopping by!
