Oooh - see what I miss when I'm not on PN for a few weeks. WOW! What a fabulous trip you've had!! This picture is gorgeous! The oranges stand out so well against the white snow. Your exposure on the snow is well done. The mist in the background is nice, too. Very well done!!

That is so interesting because I live in Utah and I just went to Bryce about three weeks ago and I have the exact same picture, just cropped more.

Gee, I wonder what image we would be looking at had you gone to Capitol Reef! There is a gorgeous stretch of highway en route which I have travelled several times in various weathers and which I shall never forget. Perhaps you will find it. Once, in a statistically improbably occurrence, a car of Tornado Watchers passed us in a big hurry for understandable reasons under dark turbulent skies. But it did not snow. This is pretty.
