pfilf 0 Posted April 1, 2005 I was touched by this lonely thunder stroked tree. It seems like it wanted to avoid the thunder. Link to comment
anthony_m2 0 Posted April 1, 2005 The focus is a bit soft (is it a scanning problem?). Did you use a polarizer, because the sky is a bit over saturated (at least for me)? Link to comment
john_sailor 0 Posted April 1, 2005 Your photo underlines to us the power of the nature. Nice Link to comment
jim.henderson 1 Posted April 1, 2005 This is very dramatic, but isn't it a little blurry? Or is that me? Link to comment
vivi_farma 0 Posted April 1, 2005 That tree is dramaticaly alone, the storm has passed but the remains ao the tree will remind to us the short life. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted April 1, 2005 Hello Petros. This is a very powerful composition, and the contrasting colours and textures work very well here. In my opinion, it is one of your strongest images. I must however agree with Anthony. The image does appear less than sharp. I suspect that this was a fault of the scanning process, rather than the photography. What equipment did you use to scan your slide? Would you consider a rescan? I have applied a sharpen filter in photoshop, that helps a little, but sone definition is invariably lost using this method. 6/6 [7/7 if the image was pin sharp!] Regards, Nick. Link to comment
pfilf 0 Posted April 1, 2005 This image comes from a scanned slide and as the scanner is not a professional one the results aren?t the best. Thanks for the critic and the advises. Petros Link to comment
