john_iwasz 0 Posted April 1, 2005 It's a wonderful scene. Would like to see the color version and the greenery of the trees. Looks like a very serene place. 7/6 Link to comment

jim kerr 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Steve, a very wonderful waterfall, what it makes me think of is a place called Shangri-La from the movie"Lost Horizon". Got a question: is this maybe an 8X8 print scanned on a flatbed? Just curious.....Jim Link to comment
steve_patterson 0 Posted April 2, 2005 It is exactly that, scanned on an Epson 1650 rather than a scanned negative. In scanning the print, I was able to pick up paper/selenium toning effects. Link to comment
nathan w 0 Posted May 31, 2005 split a little too much for my taste... but hey, whadda I know? Liking the ambience in the trees... looks like a misty, trance like light. Did you print through a diffusing filter, at the top? Link to comment
steve_patterson 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Nathan--the haziness in the trees is natural; it comes from fog just beginning to burn off. Thanks for the comments. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 19, 2005 Hi, I love that photo because it has great depth and texture. A very relaxing and theraputic image to look at. I like the haze and rain over the Reflecting pool. Cheers. Link to comment
