I wonder should I leave her hands in for a better picture ? I

realize there's a shadow since she seats so close to the wall.

However, does the flash and white balance work ? Please comment.

It's been a while since you've posted anything new! I'll try to answer your question but don't take me too seriously, I'm no pro.

Hands: if you have the whole hands in your original file I'd like to see them. It's the legs I'd cut, not that I don't like them but I'd like to see a closer crop around her face. I'm addicted to smiles!

Flash: it's a bit hard, perhaps a thin layer of paper on the flash would have diffused the light enough to avoid those reflections.

White balance: I like the white balance you used. Is it the best one? Skin is not a good guide, there are many possible variation and I never met your model in person.

I think the flash is just enough. Maybe including the hands would enhance it even more, but like the previous poster said, if only we could see the original photo to make any judgement. Still, very nice photo.

Thanks Andre and Vu for the detail critiques. This is the orignal. But I have other shots. I have to zoom in to avoid the distraction next to her at that time. This is from a party not a studio and I can't move her much.

I agree with Andre by cropping around her face.!It's should be nice to see her big smile.!Also the distracting background will be removed.!Thanks for sharing your work.!
