Following a great snorkel off the coast of Belize, we were returning

in a boat. Our guide was passing around slices of orange

(refreshing, delicious). He threw a big pile of orange peels, which

he had peeled with a knife as one would peel a potato or apple, into

the trash bin beside me. Without really even looking at them or

composing, I snapped a couple shots...

They're almost cut thin enough that, with this much of the work done, you could easily have gone right ahead with the rest of the process of making marmalade. I mean, you'd have to add some actual citrus, but most of the work is already finished here, I'd say. In looking at the thumbnail, I assumed these were French fried potatoes. What an interesting shot.
