Macro shots often suffer from extraneous detail that doesn't help the image, here there are small black dots that might be aphids or dirt. Often the photographer doesn't see them until they see the image larger. This detracts from this water lily. I would also like to see the flower at a rule of thirds junction rather than in the center.
