I really love the gentle expression of your model. I like the crop too. It's funny because I've work on a similar portrait of my daughter today, I mean with the same expression but finaly, I've posted another one completely different ;o)

Really a very nice image. the girl has a soft sking with fine details. square crop works good with this kind of subject, and focuses on facial expressions. She seems concentrating on a dream. Also a good idea working with b/w tones, less distrations to watch at and, the only thing i feel strange, is the arrangment of her eyelashes, they are long (and well contrasted) but a bit "casual"... probably this is what fascinates the onlookers, but could also be a distraction: a duble cutting edge. Wonderful expression and framing. The closed eyes work really well. On the technical side, a bit of the detail may be washed out in the highlight areas, and I think it suffers a bit from oversharpening. Otherwise great! 6/6

That is really original portrait. I like her eyes closed. Superb eyelashes.
