mrhaydon 0 Posted March 27, 2005 This has a strong sense of depth Kevin, makes you want to walk into it. Very nice. Link to comment
giuseppe_miriello1 0 Posted March 27, 2005 This is an intresting image Kevin. very colorful at bottom and very dark at top. Only i feel the horizon is too much bright and visible, and also the sky (upper right) seems not to match the image saturation at bottom. On the other side the bottom has beautyful color and light so it is like seeing 2 different images pasted into one! really a weird but intresting look. Link to comment
deidre_clark 0 Posted March 27, 2005 Its poorly composed with the horizon line close to center. There is something very artifical and manufactured looking about it. I think the other rater is right. Its two images pasted together. And poorly done so at that. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted March 27, 2005 Maybe they are right but even though this is a beautiful image. Yet I would have prefer 2/3 of sky (so beautiful!) and perhaps some poppies more in close-up. Link to comment
reighamsyde 0 Posted March 27, 2005 Dierdre It took about 1 min to rush this together If you read what I had said ,it is 3 (not 2 images fused together.(Ok I should have taken more time.(Cannot think why you would say poorly composed though.Mabey you could make another comment as to what you would have done different. (By the by would be nice to see some of your work as I notice you have none showing as yet Thank you for your comment Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 28, 2005 I think it could be made to work, and you're plenty honest enough to tell folks what you did in contrast with some others who present their images and then have a nervous breakdown when folks note the workmanship issues. The main problem here is the horizon line and the abrupt change in the atmospherics rignt at that line. The lighting from the sky does not match the lighting on the ground. Link to comment
