Pleasing symmetry and a nice POV. The lack of any point of reference (were you on a boat? using a telephoto? on the edge of dock? ...) makes this photo much more mysterious and intriguing... especially in light of the apparently overgrown island. It has a feeling of 'everyone has disappeared' that I quite like.

This shot evokes the mystery of the Venice lagoon when it is misty. The stillness and the unexplained buildings on the little islands.

... I like everything you've done in this Venice islet in the lagoon series, Henri. This would also be fantastic as a panorama shot as well.

an ancient point in a very large photo.....lack of lines and clarity between the water and sky makes this wonderful..........you have a talent.
