Raindrops on the Leaves

Sheltering from the rain below a large tree I look up and saw these

leaves. Not a wash-out day at the gardens after all. ^_^

Excellent shot. The colours are vivid and the raindrops gives the impact that is necessary. Well done.

I like this one a little bit better than the other green w/ droplets. The shade of green here is more interesting. In both images, you've captured great detail in the crops and in the veins of the leaves. These are great pictures, Alec!!

Alex, this is quite different from your lovely style of portrait photography. Wish I had your models here too. Glad you admire nature as well.

Fantastic! Great color and detail...great light.

This has lots of rythm to it: I like the way. moving L to R you get this waves of bright green, sharp edges and dark shadows. This seems to be additionally rythmed by the up and downs of the further structure of the leaves. The random drops, on top of this basically almost-regular pattern, break the symmetry and make the picture very pleasent.

Sal, you have such a keen eye for observation. Almost philosophical. ^_^
