I like the DOF choice and composition, both of which are set off nicely by the out of focus stalks in the background. I also like the tones in everything but the light upper part of the image - the lightness is fine, but I think it lacks atmosphere - mind you, that's a very subjective perception on my part, and I wonder if this wasn't the mood you were looking for, with things lightening up with the coming of spring, and even the dry grass on the verge of getting some colour once things warm up. Nice shot in any event. Best, Jeremy.
