venice Soap

This display was in a specialist soap shop. How else could you

photograph this?

Turn camera 90 degrees, zoom in on just the 3 center stacks to make an Italian flag :-)

You're right, it actually is closer to an Irish flag. The colors and textures of stacks of soap are interesting. There was an earlier one here on PN, but the wrappers were covering most of the soap, and this is better.

Yay for soap bars! I really like this shot. Where did you take it? Inside one of these fancy soap shops? In any case well done!

Earlier today I went into a shop in Boston (Massachusetts, not Boston, England) called "Lush", a London-based soap manufacturer that sold soaps just like this. You may be familiar with them as you're from England. In any case, nice soaps. This would make a good specialty catalogue shot.

Good eye for detail. I like the fact that you actualy saw this as a photo opportunity as much as the photo itself.
