This photo was taken a few minutes after we took off from St-Hubert airport, just south of Montreal. On the horizon, though the haze you can see the St-Lawrence river. I left the wing in the picture as I would have needed to crop too much of the photo and cloned out some reflection on the lower left. It was a beautiful flying day.

The wing portion looks cool I think. Excellent patch work pattern here and the haze and clouds finishes the shot wonderfully.

I love the patchwork quilt of colors which leads my eyes to the horizon. The beautiful blue under the cloud formations is a lovely site to see.

Excellent photograph!

I was lucky to shoot a variety of crops with different colours. Could've been all green but that could be nice too I guess. Thanks for showing up again.

I usually have my eyes closed when I'm on a plane (and tend to avoid getting on one if I can help it)! I may have to try actually being brave and capturing nature's abstract, like you did here.

Sometimes flying scares me too and I do find that taking pictures is a good way to change my thoughts. I'm usually more nervous before and once we are in the air, I'm better about it.

Thanks for looking at my picture. Love your work and really admire your 'distressed' series.
