Paul, the trick is long exposure (about 2 sec) and panning the camera before the shutter close. You might need a tripod and release cable for this.

I didn't comment earlier as I was rushing but I have the full intention of coming back to inseert my comment. I really love this shot. Lovely tones of colours & a windswept feel. And no PS, that is fantastic. I have yet to learn "span".

Very pleasing tones as well and the simple two colors present are another plus. Don't like the title as part of the frame-- too much like those cheesy motivational posters.
