dougityb 0 Posted March 20, 2005 A composite, I guess? One model, two images, sandwhiched together? I'm very impressed with the work on the foreground pear. It's huge, bright, full of texture, color and detail, and yet it doesn't dominate because of its angle, and the use of other similar shapes in the composition, which make it part of a pattern, rather than a singular subject. It does have strength of presence, it's not like it disappears, but it's not screaming for all the attention, which I think is part of the joy of the picture. The idea, pears and breasts, is interesting, too. Link to comment
raddatzphoto 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Thank's Doug, this is a single shot, with a mirror placed just so. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted March 23, 2005 A single shot?! Very impressive. I didn't mention this before, but I like the fact of the different skin tones in the two figures. I dont' know how much of that has to do with the models themselves, and how much as to do with light, but it's a very fascinating effect, especially the background figure, whose skin is very much like the color of pear flesh. In fact, the whole image seems to be all about skin and flesh. Link to comment
