Ljubljana's Franciscan church in late afternoon

17th century Franciscan church (of Mary's annunciation) dominates asquare in the very centre of Ljubljana, just next to Tromostovjebridges. It used to be of orange and red colour, giving the city aslight touch of Mediterranean, although snow covered Alps can beeasily seen behind its belltowers.
Unfortunately, it was repainted in two shades of pink few years ago asa part of a quite controversial restoration.

Late afternoon sun shining horizontally on the facade somehow restoreschurch's former warm look which I much prefer.
