robertbrown 1 Posted March 14, 2005 Thanks for commenting on one of my photos. I really like this one--terrific perspective. I've been to Kew Gardens, but don't remember seeing this. How were you able to get this particular shot? Link to comment

pjmeade 12 Posted March 15, 2005 This was taken in the early 1980s on Fuji slide film. The poor condition of the Palm House is easy to see. How much more work does the shot need? Link to comment
mark anthony king 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Nice composition & lighting. My only criticism is that maybe you should clean up the spots that appear to be dust on the negative from scaning, & I feel that croping to the center would benefit this image. Thanks for looking at my work also. Link to comment
catherine_kennedy 0 Posted April 8, 2005 I LOVE this one! You have many fantastic photos yet especially given the PK1000!! Old school! But wonderful! Especially when you achieve the shot, composition on this piece is exceptional. Drawing the eye in!! Lots of depths, structural yet open. Then just slightly off center yet level AND processed then enlarged by hand! The art of understanding apture / lighting, chemistry with the dexterity to wind film on its reel in the dark! It's the art of the art! Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted April 8, 2005 A good shot, Peter, I wish I had been able to see the place while it was being restored. Link to comment

kickniko 0 Posted March 30, 2006 Pete, this is a nice one, especially because of the combination of color, form and perspective. Keep it up and best wishes! Link to comment
vladimirovna 1 Posted December 29, 2008 Very good sharpness and detailing. This is a case where I do like the noise to be part of the picture. Good job. Link to comment
