Nice photo. Some detail in the polos would improve the effect.

When I took this shot back in 1981, I think I exposed it so that the woodwork was going to be in silhouette. I don't remember seeing any detail when I scanned it a couple of days ago. Thanks for the helpful comment.

I know Prestatyn very well, (as I grew up in Chester) and I don't ever remember it being as beautiful as this! You have achieved something really aesthetic, from a simple subject by beautiful composition and exposure! (oh, and all the better for being in B&W).

I love this photo. The strong contrast gives this shot such character. Keep shooting and have fun.

Now this I do like. Wish it were my own. One thing troubles me.The stone mid right. Have you tried it with this " blob" cloned out ? The simplicity appeals.Best of the bunch.Could you maybe try again with the colour version and go through several stages, leading up to the high contrast.I think you may find other images to post.
