Excellent balance and composition Alec. I'd love to play with the colors a touch on this one. If there was more color separation, I think the photo would have even more impact. As it stands it is still a superb photo.

Man. I love these cats. They look so regal and reminds me of my

Persian cat Fluffy who just likes to be left alone.

Hi Joe. You're right, my notebook does show it darker then what I see on my Sony CRT monitor. Thanks for your input here.

Let me be the first to welcome you back. Now you can add more to your collection again. This time with more quality, isn't that great? As usual a very interesting portfolio of excellent compositions with great light.

I love your white tiger shots, Alec. Such beautiful animals and you've done a great job capturing them.

Kim Your bird shots are superb. I tried many similar shots but in dim light under the trees many didn't turn out well. Too much flash. Thanks for commenting on this one.

Another winner Alec. Considering the white the balance seems as good as could be hoped for. Comp is unusual for a tiger shot too and a welcome relief from the norm. Really shows the beasts power in this quite well...i have no 7's otherwise....

Alec - these white tiger shots are AMAZING!! THanks for sharing them with us. It's hard to choose one, but I think that this one is my favorite because of the context and composition. Wonderful work ... exceptional!!!

Best composition of this batch so far, Alec. You are nailing the exposures. The red rock againest the white and black fur is a hard combo to get right. Well done.

Excellent capture, Alec. White tiger against coloured background has made the image more dramatic. But why have not you captured any image of Royal Bengal Tiger?

Sircar, because there isn't any at the Zoo. Will love to take one as elegant as what Yuri Bonder captured.

Why would you have wanted to resist this one Alec? you almost feel you're out there with the tiger in this shot. very nicely done.

Yeah, some may love the rich colors, but what else? As too many "wildlife" photos around here, it's taken at zoo... Just too artificial.

Artificial Galstad? Right! It's taken in a Zoo and the challenge is compose it like it is in the wild and that's the tough part! Try it instead of of having nothing in your site. Do you think we photographers prefer the Zoo?

If I have the chance to go on a Safari I betcha I'll be able to get some really extremely aesthetic images.

Indeed, you tried to make it to look natural, but it still screaming "zoo". It's not your fault. A domestic animal won't look like a wild one.

It might be true, but don't be so sure. "Shooting" -real- wildlife is much more difficult than a visit to zoo. Regards, K.

Thanks for clarifying Galstad. Appreciate it.

I know shooting wildlife in a Safari is not easy, seen and read enough of National Geographic, Discovery channels etc. But I am glad I took this shot. It look awesome on high gloss 13" X 19" print in my office.
