jeff.grant 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Kevin, a couple of things come to mind. The first is to diffuse the light through some sort of difffuser to soften the hot highlights, stop down like mad to get more dof, and bounce some light back on the right side with a mirror or foamcore. The problem with this sort of shot, IMVHO is that they go to black too soon. The extra light from the reflector will improve that a lot. Other than that tomatoes make great studies. You should have a look at the lighting forum, there is a whole series of tutorials readily available, and a very helpful group of folks to answer questions. Link to comment
