The most beautiful, elegantly captured photo of white tigers that I believe I have ever seen.. breathtaking indeed! 7/7

Thanks guys, glad you like it. Quite difficult to get good shots of these lazy sleep heads. Managed to get this after our third visit there for the day. I used ISO 200 and NEF (RAW) file with very little PP, levels adjustments done on NEF file.

Again 7's Alec. Stunning shot. That rear tigers eyes are COLD...they are the picture of cold.

Alec, this is just so good! Two subjects, composed perfectly captured brilliantly, this is a truly beautiful image. The only thing wrong is that's in captivity, but then I guess we would not be getting so close!! Great work. This is stunning.

Hi David, the lion. You like tigers too?

Paula and Paul - your names sounds so familiar that I always think you're family.

Mario, Pulok, Leonid, appreciate your comments.

Hi Matty, all white tigers are descendants from one named Mohan captured in India. (That's what was written in the Zoo info stand. The tigers here are borned in captivity and this being one of the best managed open zoo they are fortunate.

Jayme, nice to hear from you again. Missed your kind comments (;>)

Sircar, Bolti, Katya, my sincere thanks.

There's something not quite right for me in the composition but I can't quite put my finger on it - perhaps it's the way the faces are bunched over to the left?

Also, I'd prefer it if both tigers faces were pin sharp - as it is the front one is a little soft in comparison to the back one.

Thanks for commenting John. Alway enjoyed your intimate site.

Mark, you're right. This is an insurance shot at 1/320, F8 and hand held. Didn't have time to change to a faster speed or higher ISO setting. It's actually cropped 2/5 of the actual image as I want a closer look at both the tigers and the water movement for better effect. Otherwise it's just 2 cats swimming in the pond.
