dilber 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Hi, really like this photo. When I saw it I thought it was a picture from the 70's. It has a nostalgic feel to it regardless of the modern equipment. The light is very good, b&w enhances the photo. Maybe it's the models make up, hair and pose. Not sure it that was the effect you wanted to create. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment

peepeyephotography 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Gorgeous shot. I love the lighting, angles, the metal, and the DJ is radiant. The only thing I find a little distracting is the bright white paper in the case on the left. I attached a crop/edit (idea) for you, hope you don't mind. Great job! -James Link to comment

d2f 0 Posted March 14, 2005 While I could join the ranks and tell you what a good shot this is , that is not the sole purpose of this web site. Personally I would have removed the white object off to the left, it is distracting and draws the viewer's eye away from the subject. Likewise the smaller light objects (record album covers) on the right hand side. That or crop the left and right hand sides. Next time remove the object in the background coming out of the subject's head at the 10 o'clock position, is doesn't add anything to the image and it is distracting attention away from the subject. In general the eye is attached to light in the image, as you can see some of the objects in your image complete for attention and you must control them better next time. Link to comment
