Not good for the cook, when the garlic sprouts, but it's funny how life finds a way to thrive

when we're not looking. I'm trying to learn the techniques of macro, since I think one of

the things a camera does is give us viewpoints we can't have without it. Technical &

aesthetic suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks for visiting and dropping a quiet 2/2 on me, here. If you ever come back, I'd like it (if you have the time) if you could spare some of your wisdom, so I can learn to do better. Otherwise, I don't really know what it is that bothered you so, or what to do differently to improve. Help is always welcome.

Don- I have plenty of this sprouting stuff at my house! :) I like this because of the light and shadow that implies an egg! Neat, thoughtfully planned and a well executed idea! Ever trying to capture those difficult things with extremes of light differences! I find those captures so frustrating because of the limitations of the cameras. I want them to see what I see! And as of yet they just don't! But for sprouting garlic, you've worked your magic!

A great title that matches the idea of your image. I like your concept, Don. I am learning Macro too, & still on the struggling stage. The lightings are just nice, not too harsh, the green spouts really seems to make thier way out from their cacoon.

Don, it is a nice experiment, and a nice result, I like the light, and the idea of developing an eye to see the small things that usualy we don't pay attention to. continue and just ignor the kind of ratings without comment... Pnina

I like this a bunch. You inspire me to take my camera to the garden to look at more than just the roses!
