wayne_willis2 0 Posted March 27, 2005 great composition i like the way the fence line leads you in and out of the picture, great colours and shadow but it lacks sharpness. Link to comment
tonyv 0 Posted March 27, 2005 Like the fence, the colours. Don't like the out of focus background. Perhaps a higher f-stop. Link to comment

zeb andrews 0 Posted March 28, 2005 The lack of sharpness is more a result of the poor scan resolution, though the camera itself is not terribly sharp. And as a whole I like the vignette look and soft edges. Combined with the warm light I like the much softer look and feel of the photo. Unfortunately my holga does not give more than one choice of f-stops but the challenge is part of the fun. I like the fence and colors as well. As the photographer I think my least favorite aspect is the overly large shadow in the foreground. On one hand it is nice because it catches the eye's attention and as that is the beginning of the fence it is a good place to start, but it is a bit too big. In hindsight I should have tried another shot a couple of steps forward. An interesting idea by the way to convert it to B&W, I will have to try that. If I were to rate this I would probably have given it a 5/4. Not terribly original, but nice to look at. Link to comment
