Under the Bridge 16

I've decided to give my Canon 10D a rest and shoot only manual focus film cameras for a while.

Bob, I like this series quite a lot. The inclusion of the bench in this one is a nice touch. It gives the viewer a place to sit and study the scene. The other two had more of an abstract quality to them, which I like. With the supports and the far end of the bridge lost in fog, the images have a tenuous mood to them. I get a similar feeling looking up at this bridge, in these photos, that I often experience when driving over them (well, not this one in particular-just metal span bridges in general).

Paul, you're absolutely right about contrast and fog--they don't mix well. I like your edit of the photo.

Laurie, thanks for your comment. The bridge coming out of the fog does seem a bit tenuous, reaching out to touch . . .
