zlm 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Another from my series of shots from the park. I really liked the addition of the dusting of snow to the sculpture. I'd love to hear any advice you have, thanks so much! Link to comment
axelg 3 Posted March 10, 2005 the shade bothers me (same comment about your other version of this shot), but it is a good catch. Try to come back at an other time of the day or take a picture from the other side (but snow might be melted?...) Link to comment
zlm 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Thanks for the advice. My reason for being on the shady side was that it gave a nice contrast between the sculpture and the sky. The reflections are also nicer on the shady side (IMO), it tends to just look very metallic when looking at the sunny side. Link to comment
zlm 0 Posted April 7, 2006 It's an honor to receive positive comments from someone with a portofolio as great as yours Wilson. I had seen your postings of Cloud Gate recently and really admired them. I love it too, I'm sad that I live far enough now to not have a chance to see it more often (and both of my prior visits have been fairly short). Thank you very much for your comments.
