I have to say that this is probably my favorite so far from the Needle abstracts. (Friday night series?) The colors are fabulous, there is a bit more definition in the lights and yet the sparkle on the bottom edge of the restaurant/spin section of the needle really gives the eye a focal point. Bravo!!!

Love both the color and the composition. The only thing I question is the flair spot near the bottom right (a little distracting). Is is a composit, or is this the way you found it? Either way its a great shot...

LOU ANN: So glad you like them!

PETER: Thanks, man. Appreciate your pat-in-the-back. ^_^

HOWARD: Thank you, sir!

CHRIS: Thank you for your feedback. I also was pondering about that issue as I have both versions. After going back and forth for a while, I settled on the rendered flare as it lends a, "sci-fi" air to the image.

CHiPs: Very glad you enjoyed it.

ANGEL: It first looks like a leaky UFO to me too after rendering the flare. Thank you always for your feedback.

KIM: Really appreciate your following up on the series.

JONATHAN: Noted your comment with thanks.

PETROS: Certainly glad that you like it.

Wilson- this is really interesting. The way you contrast the spinning wheel with the Needle makes for a wonderful composition. Well seen!

Brilliant! I'm looking for my transporter badge...hold on Scotty...no beaming up, yet. Did you try to sell it to Start Trek as their next Deep Space station?
