Six in the morning and slow going...

Shouldn't have been out driving this early but it was worth the

picture...

heavy downpour of rain on top of recent snow, with your headlamps lighting the scene? brilliant mimimalist composition and exposure!

This is the effect you get when you do a long

exposure of a blinding snowstorm. It was exposed manually on a tripod at 4 sec/F5.6. The next time I want to reduce the exposure time a bit. I am experimenting with car lights and it seems to work enough for my purposes.

Very well done! I've tried similar things myself, but they haven't come out nearly so well. I like those trees - they seem so much more ominous in this light than in daylight.
