kslonaker 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Used a diffuser on my flash as low light conditions today. I liked the red contrasting with the background and the detail on the feathers. Link to comment
dk. 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Beautiful picture Kim. The person that gave you a 4/4 should put on his glasses before he rates pictures on here. Or go back and rate it again and fix his mistake. 6/6 DK. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Looks like he joined today, David! Go figure... maybe he has much better shots that are far above average, although I sure didn't see any posted. Oh well...the ratings game continues. I appreciate your comments, David and Nicholas. Michael Lagman, if you'd care to elaborate on your average rating, I'd appreciate it. I don't care what ratings I get, but it sure helps to have comments to give you a clue what to do better next time. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Cool Kim. It really looks like it's a cloudy day. And the crisp quality is superb. I feel the D100 is much more superior then the D70 giving more accurate details for color and sharpness. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Definitely cloudy and rainy, Alec. I've had some success using a diffuser on the flash for bird pictures on low lighting days. Link to comment
stever2 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Nice mood from the diffuser; perfect place for the seeds. 6/6 I gave the picture an PS auto contrast just to see. It changed the mood of the day and raised the reds for sure. Still, it too was a darn good photo. Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Gorgeous shot (again). The red in the frame is a nice touch. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted March 8, 2005 Red perfection. Whom ever thought up birds should get two gold stars. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 8, 2005 Howard, I agree, yet some people have said on PN they do NOT like birds! Go figure! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 9, 2005 Wonderful shot, Kim - you caught him with his mouth full! :-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 9, 2005 He was a piggy, Lou Ann. Even the flash didn't scare him off! Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted March 11, 2005 Kim, now this is a shot that I know must be from you. Great timing and lighting as usual. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 11, 2005 Beautifully done! I like the way this little guy seems to be smoking a cigar! Link to comment
