Alex, the model's expression is certainly different than what I am used to seeing, but I like it. I think that it works well with her posture and the act of putting on her shoe. Almost like she is going out on a date and he has pulled into the driveway a bit too early. The sepia toning is also nice. I think she needs just a bit more space on the left and right, though. Your tight crop is obviously intentional, so I am interested in hearing what lead you to your choice.

Love the action and square format...model in the box

I think this is great shot. I like the tight crop -- I think it enhances the "hubby/bf's home much earlier than expected" feel of the image by depicting her as "boxed in." In any case, fine pose, expression, and hair, and well captured.
