This is very good, and not just the composition. The tone and exposure combine well in creating the sensation of an ethereal atmosphere.

As for the twigs, I would suggest that they also lend a subtle sense of depth to the whole scene. So don't be too quick to crop them out and risk losing the foreground depth you need to balance the distance into the background.
