Please critique.

Really good composition and whatever poast processing technique you used was successful. Looks to me like a painting, and that's good IMHO!

Ken, where have you found that Cactus, that is Mediterranean typical ( have you been there without notifing me?.... lol)! Well I'm biased....anyway a good image, I like the red sigh of its fruits. Pnina

Ken- What a wonderful composition! Makes me want to go on vaction! The DOF is perfect. So that's what the 10-22mm looks like, WOW! The colors are vibrant and the sky is awesome. Really nice!

Interesting lighting on this... Kinda looks like noon or so. Like the composition maybe a little darker??

Hi Ken, I like the colors, sharpness, and you certainly have lots of highlight detail. Dennis has a point though about maybe making it a tad darker? Still, a very interesting, unique treatment with juxtapositon of dessert against sandy beach!

This image was actually taken in late afternoon and was quite dark. What you see was my attempt to compensate. Thanks for your comments.

This has to be Mexico ;) The thing that strikes me is the contrast between the cool water/sky and the desert plant... water water everywhere and not a drop to drink. Agree a little darker as the highlights seem to be gone. I love both the desert and the sea so I think I would have it framed...

I like the effect, too. We have so many cactus plants around here, but I can never make them look interesting. You have definitely succeeded with this composition in making it appealing.

I don't know why but this reminds me through a haze of nostalgia of illustrations in some old childrens encyclopedias I had as a kid. Nice effect.

I really like this Ken. Collin starts the bells ringing... "something" by the sea...50's kid book..on the tip here...ummm... grrrrr... nono... its somebody and somebody go to the seashore!.. memory is a funny thing, anyway love the sky and entire deal.

I'm rather behind ... but am glad I am trying to catch up ... this is nice! The sky is spectacular, and your foreground is very unique! The lady bug adds a wonderful finishing touch!
