Phoenix gangbanger throwing signs

I took this several years ago with a Canon Elan IIe while working

the police beat for a Phoenix newspaper. I recently had the

negatives scanned onto a CD.

well, when i first saw the thumbnail of thsi pic i suspected it had something to do with crime but for the rest i didn't understand what was the point. Your comment is very welcome. I think there's not much to say technically or aesthetically, it's a snapshot, the man on the left ( a policeman, i guess ?)is cut-off... but it does have something intriguing, don't know what... maybe the contrast with the braggart expression of the gangster and the calm, almost fascinated, expression of the other guy. And, most of all, gangsters in suburbs of Paris don't do the same signs ! :-))) Regards. 4/6

I find it interesting that this one transferred over from negative with much better quality than the previous picture you'd posted. Did you adjust the light levels in the first?
