Barony of Chulilla

The greta fortified hill at Chulilla, once conquered from moorish hands was given to the warrior bishops of Segorba who sttled down there instauring an hereditary barony that later fell in the hands of the bishops of Valencia.

Clearly, at that time, church, power and wealth were concepts that lived well together...

Ya te lo ha dicho Luis, pero no esta de mas repetir que la luz sobre el pueblo refuerza el protagonismo en la imagen; tambien me gustan mucho las tonalidades del cielo y las nubes que se han colado.

Buenas tardes, efectivamente, la foto esta hecha en Namibia. Tambien me sorprendio esa mezcla de chacales y folcas. Lo cierto es que fue todo un espectaculo. Un abrazo.

Interesting atmosphere with all the tightly packed houses in the town. Reminds me a little of El Greco's Toledo picture.
