Puertomingalvo

Puertomingalvo's name derives in part from its geographical location on a mountain pass, ?portum?, and from the name of a Arab king who lived in the village, "Ibn Galbon". The village is set on a rocky crag. The castle, one of the best preserved of the Maestrazgo regio (land of the Masters, referring to the Templars masters since they dominated these rugged mountainous lands)

Not far from the castle and forming part of the village?s defense structure, is the San Antón gateway, in the form of a tower with a tetragonal door, which provides access to the village.There is written reference to the castle dating back to 1202 where it is referred to with its Arabic name, ?castrum de Avingalbón or Avingalón?.

Pedro II, king of Aragón, donated this castle and the castle at Linares de Mora to the Bishop of Zaragoza, Ramon de Castrocol, and to the Chapter of the la Seo Cathedral.Later, in 1532, Fadrique de Portugal, Archbishop of Zaragoza, received a Royal order to visit and restore several castles in Teruel, among them the castle of Puertomingalvo. However, owing to the enormous costs of the restoration, the plan was never carried out.

To-day, the castle is a museum dedicated to the history of castles.

Precioso encuadre y nubes..

 

Las nubes son estupendas, muy bien filtradas. Que opinas de este encuadre con la idea de que los arbustos distraigan menos?

Un contraste muy chulo. La que mas me gusta de estas tres ultimas que has subido. Los reflejos claros de los matojos en primer termino ayudan a aportar distancia.

y, respecto al recorte, permite que te felicite por este incio tuyo en el entretenido e instructivo trabajo de buscar otros encuadres a las fotos.

Pero no estoy de acuerdo, Sigfrido ha dado la explicación correcta, EMHO.

Je suis assez d'accord avec la proposition de Manuel. J'irais meme jusqu'a supprimer le nuage superieur pour realiser un format tres allonge qui irait parfaitement avec les lignes quasi-horizontales des terrasses et des toits. En tout cas, ca fonctionne tres bien en noir et blanc.

Sorprendente foto, y las nubes excelentes, que siempre ando en busca de ellas... ah si, me gusta asi como esta :)))

Las nubes son una belleza y le aportan dramatismo a la imagen. Sin embargo lo que mas me gusta es la eleccion de la hora para aprovechar una luz muy dura iluminando las construcciones espectacularmente. Felicidades!

Beautiful shot, Alberto! The clouds are really good and add to the atmosphere. I like the lines in the fields in the valley. I prefer your original to Manuel's suggestion and would probably have included more foreground at the expense of those excellent clouds. But a fine shot!

Anima al personal que la primavera ya se acerca... y aunque no ha llovido mucho, esta tierra tiene siempre sus encantos.

La foto, GENIAL, al mas puro estilo tuyo donde se mezcla el castillo, no podrí¡ ser de otra manera, y un encuadre excelente. Ni que decir tiene, que no estabas en las nubes cuando tomastes esta imagen.

El dia 21 me llevo a Laura a Bruselas, Paris y si puedo me acercare a Gante y Brujas. Ya os ensenare algunas imagenes.

Un BN genial Alberto. Dudo entre tu recorte y el de Manuel, como dices, la explicacion de Sig, me hace quedarme con tu origianal. Si tan solo en el de Manuel no se vieran esas pocas espigas, entonces me quedaba con el suyo... muchas dudas...

Voici ton idée mais avec, aussi, celle de Manuel de garder un peu du haut de l'herbe pour donner plus de profondeur.
