amorteguy 0 Posted March 2, 2005 This is nice overall. It could be improved by not framing the walkers so close to the bottom of the frame. Monochrome may be called for also (there's not much color anyway), it may strengthen the presentation. P.S. I now see it IS a monochrome, I need to get a new monitor or glasses, sorry 'bout that. bekster 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Very nice 'depth of contrast' in this shot. I really like 'the walkers'. Very nice image, so moody with the blizzard. Well done! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 2, 2005 Gaetan ,very well captured the atmospher of winter here.I like the contrast between the scene and people in it. Pnina Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 2, 2005 Well timed. I usually find when trying to get walkers in the right spot that a car gets in the way at the exact right moment. This pair would be better slightly higher in the frame but their presence makes the mood of the shot. Link to comment
syl_f._greg 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Vous avez eu de la chance que les deux promeneurs qui passaient par la portent des manteaux fonces. Une tres belle scene d'hiver. Link to comment
fotoslim 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Beautiful winter composition, to integrate two people... very good idea. A cordial greeting. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted March 3, 2005 The large out of focus lamps on the left look like snowballs in the air, similar to the how the large snowflakes appear in the top of the frame. Link to comment
erenozkapici 0 Posted March 3, 2005 Nice atmosphere and good contrast, congratulations.. Link to comment
gaetanchevalier 5 Posted March 8, 2005 Yes it is difficult to get walkers in the right spot. For this snow storm, it was very cold and to take a photo was not easy, my hand was frozen. If I had a DSLR at that time, it would have been much easier. But to take that kind of shot, it is not very good for a camera. Link to comment
