Some of the things I noticed: The unusual position of the hands, the "vignetting" of the torso to keep the image simple, the texture of the jacket next to that of the skin, the careful illumination of the zipper (which is perfectly centered under the face), the sharp outline of the right cheek and chin, and the rich contrast of the print.
