dk. 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Jerry how does one repost a picture from before (that has already been rated) on here so others can see it I have seen others do this? I don't know how to do this? Thanks. DK. P.s. Nice Picture by the way. Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Jerry, this is just beautiful! So crisp & clean...love the glassiness of the water and the color of the leaves. Leslie Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted March 1, 2005 all for stopping by and giving rates. In my opinion films still have its place (and a very important one) in photography and most likely will NOT totally replaced by digital. DK, I don't quite understand your question. Do you mean how can you post an image without submitting for critique immediately? Link to comment
dk. 0 Posted March 1, 2005 I think I have seen pictures that have been critiqued before and then Some time later the person puts it up for critique again so other new people can see it and critique too, At least thats what I think took place as you can see dates from others that critiqued it months/years ago but it was just posted the same day months/years later. Am I making any sense? ;o) Just wondering if that is posible and how is it done? thanks Jerry. DK. (I see what you said below Jerry. Thanks) Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted March 1, 2005 nature is so beautiful and you've captured them as if we are there. Very original. 7/7 Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted March 1, 2005 DK, I see what you meant. Let's use this photo as an example. I posted it last night around 11:30 PM and just submitted it for critiques about an hour ago. At least 5 members already commented/rated it before I submitted it (for critiques). I think you can only submit for critiques once per picture, not multiple times. Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted March 1, 2005 Spencer, thanks for dropping by. Do you still plan your trip to the USA this summer/fall? Link to comment
zachary_horn1 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Great photo. This is definitely a much better than average picture of cascading water. Link to comment

gmh2 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Jerry, I am interested in your exposure time. It looks as though you have at least 2 or 3 seconds worth. If you don't mind I am interested. Thanks in advance. One of the best illustrations of moving water I have ever seen. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Jerry, great use of wide angle with lovely colors, composition, and time exposure. Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted March 2, 2005 Zachary, Umair, Marina, George, Wilson and Antonio for stopping by and giving your kind words. George, I think the aperture was set at f22 and the shutter speed was probably 2-4 seconds so your estimate was pretty close. It was a rainy afternoon in late October just before sunset and I was standing in the water with both feet wet and cold. Some price you need to pay to get a decent shot :) Link to comment
